Life’sWork of Western PA Receives Grant Funding from the Edith L. Trees Charitable Trust

Pittsburgh, PA (January 31, 2024) — Life’sWork of Western PA is honored to announce that it has received grant funding from the Edith L. Trees Charitable Foundation to help expand employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities. Life’sWork of Western PA is a nonprofit leader in providing employment opportunities to those in need with disabilities and other forms of barriers to employment.

The grant from the Edith L. Trees Charitable Trust will support Life’sWork of Western PA programs and employment support services, including vocational assessment, job shadowing and work-based learning experiences, placement and follow-on support, as well as customized training programs for individuals with disabilities and other conditions that make employment difficult.

Life’sWork of Western PA has been providing services to families in crisis and individuals in its community with disabilities and other barriers to employment throughout southwestern Pennsylvania for over 96 years.
