Competitive Integrated Employment
Helping you gain the skills you need to succeed.
At Life’sWork, our goal is to ensure that adults with disabilities have the confidence, independence and skills needed so that they may pursue their life choices.
For us, it’s much more than just a ‘feel-good’ step. It’s helping individuals with disabilities explore their interests, grow their skills and find competitive, meaningful work opportunities that provide a sense of empowerment, satisfaction and a higher quality of living.
Our Competitive Integrated Employment programs provide individuals with the support they need to integrate into the workforce where they can find, maintain and flourish in the career of their choice.
Supported Employment
Our Supported Employment Program provides intensive, extended employment services including skills and interest assessments, placement and on-the-job coaching for individuals with disabilities.
Our consultants work closely in partnership with employers and our clients to create an individualized program to help our clients grow and succeed in their position. Once our client is placed and fully trained in the position, we continue to provide ongoing support and feedback to monitor progress.
Work Adjustment Training
Our Work Adjustment Training program is designed to help individuals learn, develop and grow the skills they need to gain meaningful employment.
We provide short term, paid work experiences that focus on helping our client adjust to the world of work, developing basic skills such as attendance, punctuality, productivity and more.
Job Placement
At Life’sWork, our approach to job placement is driven by the individual– emphasizing their individual abilities and interests to match them with a position where they can succeed and work effectively.
Clients placed in jobs receive lifelong services that include regular on-site visits, counseling, and follow along to promote job retention and long-term career advancement.
