Job Summary

Perform Human Resource related functions and provide administrative support to the Director, Human Resources to ensure agency, department, employee and government requirements are all met.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
  • Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to Director, Human Resources.
  • Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
  • Maintain and ensure all HR compliances for different departments within the organization are met. For example: Patch / PA Child Abuse / FBI Fingerprint Clearance are completed and maintained.
  • Hourly Recruiting. Post promotional opportunities in accordance with Company policy. Prescreen applicants, schedule interviews, assist management with selection process and conduct drug screening and background checks.
  • New Hire Orientation. Conduct and/or assist with new hire orientation. As Input new hire data in Payroll systems and set up/maintain all applicable files.
  • Provides clerical support to the HR department.
  • Acts as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors, which may include health, disability, and retirement plan providers.
  • Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, hiring fairs, employee recruitment, in service training days, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Bachelor degree in related field required.
