Raising Awareness for People with Disabilities

Seventy-five of Life’sWork’s clients, staff and family members attended the May 16 Pittsburgh Pirates game against the Colorado Rockies in support of community awareness and independence of people with disabilities. It was Disability Awareness Night at PNC Park, for which Life’sWork was the proud sponsor.

18 Holes on May 18:  The 18th Annual TRACO Golf Invitational

The Pittsburgh Field Club was the venue where 117 golfers turned out for the 18th Annual TRACO Golf Invitational to benefit Life’sWork. Former Pittsburgh Pirates First Baseman Sean Casey joined the group for a round of golf, an exquisite dinner and a rousing awards presentation.

Life'sWork was presented with Project Employ's first-ever Community Partners Award on May 12.

The award recognized the agency's efforts to provide internships and employment opportunities to the students and graduates of Project Employ, a program of Bethlehem Haven. It was presented at the organization’s annual Professional Development Class Graduation and networking event.
